Cold Rolling and AnnealingHot-rolled pickled coil is cold-reduced on tandem mills to the target gauge, which work-hardens the steel. For forming applications the coil is then annealed in a controlled atmosphere to restore ductility, and skin-passed to achieve the final surface finish and flatness. The result is a product with tight thickness tolerance (±0.02 mm typical), excellent surface quality and consistent mechanical properties across the full coil length.

What is the difference between full hard and annealed cold-rolled coil?Full hard coil is cold-reduced without annealing — it has high strength but is not suitable for forming. Annealed (and skin-passed) coil has restored ductility and is the standard choice for pressing, deep drawing and general fabrication.
Do you supply cold-rolled coil with surface oiling?Yes, coils can be supplied lightly oiled or dry per your storage and handling preference. Oiled material protects the surface during transit and storage in humid conditions.
